MAKE SURE YOU’RE READY FOR THE WINTER
As always, JSP Toolbox is here to remind your association to get your home in tip-top shape for the upcoming cold season. Getting ready for the WINTER should start in the FALL.
|Fallen leaves can kill grass when they’re matted down by snow. Leaf piles can also attract rodents. But using leaf bags means work, and waste if they go into a landfill. If your lawn mower has a “mulch mode”, you can ground up the leaves which actually nourish the soil and save money in cost of bags. Be sure to inspect your trees for damaged limbs or branches that may be too close to your roof. Fertilize your lawn to prevent winter damage so that it looks healthy for the spring time!||Make sure that your emergency generator is working properly. You never know what this season has in store for us, so be sure that you’re ready for a power outage.|
